About this event

Tuesday | Ages 10-14 | $10 In this WindsorCT250 program, students will reflect on the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness laid out in the Declaration of Independence. By reading the Declaration, students will consider what these rights meant to our nation’s founders. Then they explore the Historical Society’s exhibit, For the Common Good: 250 Years of Windsor Civic Life and contemplate how our interpretation of these rights has evolved, learn how people in Windsor have worked to protect them, and discuss what they can do today. This program is part of Windsor Historical Society’s WindsorCT250 commemoration activities. Register Here Interested in more homeschool programming?
