Adaptive Group Swim Lessons

The JCCMW Aquatics department is excited to introduce a new Adaptive Group Swim program designed to create a supportive and welcoming aquatic experience for children, teens, young adults, and their caregivers. This mini-series offers participants the opportunity to explore the pool in a structured yet flexible environment that encourages both skill development and water discovery. Families are invited to attend as many classes within the series as they want. Each 45-minute class is led by our specially trained Swim Angelfish instructors, who provide guidance and tools to support swimmers with varying needs. Sessions are designed to build confidence and water safety skills while allowing time for exploration and open swim. All instructors have completed specialized training through Swim Angelfish, a mission-driven organization dedicated to redefining swim lessons and aquatic therapy for individuals with disabilities, as well as providing professional development for aquatic professionals who serve this community. Dates: Sundays, March 22; April 19 and 26; May 3 and 17 (future sessions TBD) Time: 12:15-1:00 PM Ages: 5-21 (Adult caregivers must be in the water with participants) Cost: $55 per class
