Carol Mann This workshop is a great introduction to watercolor for those who want to explore the medium from the very beginning. Designed for beginners, the class introduces skills in an organized, step-by-step way, with each lesson building on the previous instruction. Students will learn to apply flat and graded washes, mix colors, assess and control the moisture of both paper and brush, blend smooth transitions, glaze and lift pigment, and create textural effects using salt and plastic wrap. No prior experience is required. All necessary materials are provided for a $25 supplies fee, payable directly to the instructor. 5-week series Sundays, 2:30pm – 5pm October 4 – November 1 Members $210 / Nonmembers $250
