Rise Against Hunger

Join us at the Cathedral on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM for a church-wide opportunity to put our faith into action on a global scale and pack 10,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger! Rise Against Hunger exists to “help underserved people worldwide achieve food security and resilience through nutrition, education and economic empowerment,” and partners with groups and organizations to pack meals for remote, “last-mile” communities around the world as part of this mission. RAH will provide all the supplies and ingredients for the meals (rice/soy/dehydrated vegetables/etc), as well as facilitators to help educate and manage the event; we provide the volunteers!
