The Resurrection of Our Lord This is Easter at its most magnificent. The principal Festival Choral Service gathers the full Cathedral community for a service of grandeur, beauty, and soaring music that rises to meet the occasion of the day. Incense fills the air, the choir is in full voice, and the traditional language of Rite I lends the liturgy a gravity and splendor befitting the greatest feast of the Christian year. Easter Day is the eighth day of creation — the day that rewrites the ending of every story. Come and celebrate it with everything the Cathedral has to offer. Alleluia! Christ is risen.
