Join Jonah Marsh for this weekly, drop-in/donation based Qigong class. Newcomers are welcome! Qigong is one of the oldest branches of Chinese medicine and involves gentle movements and stretching coordinated with the breath and intention, to move Qi (vital force, energy) within the body. Qigong balances both the physical and energetic bodies and develops emotional balance as well. Through this rebalancing, practitioners embark on a journey of self-healing of which they are the architect. Benefits of Qigong include improved circulation of blood and lymph, greater relaxation, lower blood pressure, and improved mood. With practice, students of Qigong are able to move effortlessly and to do the movements without thinking, thus linking the body with the breath and consciousness. This is a drop-in donation based class. Donation suggestion: $15 - $35+ *\* If you cannot donate this amount, you are still warmly welcome and encouraged to join. If you are able to give beyond the suggested amount, your additional contribution will help keep our programming accessible.*
