It requires that you've already attended **[WOOD150: Intro to CNC (Setup & Software)](https://eventbrite.com/e/1243065545509/?aff=meetup)**. Building on what we learned in WOOD150, this class will teach you how to safely operate the **Avid CNC**, from powering it on to running a complete cut. We’ll cover essential topics like **work-holding methods** to secure materials, performing **tool changes**, and setting up the machine for accurate cutting. The class will conclude with each participant running a **basic project**, reinforcing the skills needed for independent CNC work.
