@ Looking for fresh greens and holiday decorating ideas? Come to the Discovery Center where there will be generous amounts of greens for wreath-making, swag-building, mantel and centerpiece-staging. See demonstrations about how to incorporate these wonderful fresh elements into holiday decor. Need a dramatic front step container of fresh greens to greet guests for the holiday season? Need some unusual greens for a front door decoration? Hoping to score an armload of magnolia for some impact? Need some pinecones for creative projects with the kids or grandkids in December? All this and more will be at the greens sale. Drop by and join the creative fun of choosing new ideas and materials for holiday decor! This sale will take place inside the Discovery Center (22 Hobcaw Road). Bundled greenery will be composed of plants such as juniper, longleaf pine, marsh pine, magnolia, nandina, podocarpus, hamelia, variegated pittosporum, Carolina blue sapphire cypress, holly and yaupon loaded with berries, and MORE, freshly harvested from Hobcaw’s property. Magnolia seedpods, longleaf pine pinecones, and an assortment of pre-made wreaths will also be available to purchase. Prices vary based on item. Proceeds benefit the Belle W. Baruch Foundation.
