Heidi Latsky Dance: LIVING IN THE GREY
Tuesday, April 21, 2026 5:30–7:00 pm Free Register LIVING IN THE GREY is a 35-minute documentary film followed by a facilitated community conversation. The film presents five intimate portraits of dancers living with non-apparent neuorological conditions, exploring how movement practices can support healing. Through personal reflection and embodied storytelling, the film considers how identity, perception, and resilience evolve when bodies—and lives—shift. More than a documentary, LIVING IN THE GREY invites dialogue. The post-screening conversation moderated by Milwaukee-based choreographer and artistic director of Catey Ott Dance Collective, Catey Ott Thompson, offers audiences an opportunity to reflect together on themes of care, adaptation, and the stories we tell about ourselves. This event is part of Heidi Latsky Dance: WHO AM I NOW?, a multi-day residency aligned with the Arts Center’s In Tune theme.
