Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
The doors are open. Fort Wayne, welcome to the Philharmonic Center! On April 24, 2026, the Philharmonic Center officially opens with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 AM. Join The Fort Wayne Philharmonic as we celebrate this landmark moment for Fort Wayne’s arts and culture community. A cake and punch reception inside the venue will follow the ribbon cutting, and guests will have the chance to tour the space, connect with fellow community members, and experience the Philharmonic Center the way it was always meant to be — full of live music and the people who love it. Special Evening Performance: The grand opening day closes with an unforgettable night on the Phil Center stage. Fort Wayne native and internationally acclaimed pianist Jodie DeSalvo returns home for an intimate solo piano concert at 7:30 PM. Tickets for the evening performance are available separately.
