Stories in Music: Giraffes Can’t Dance
Celebrate music, movement, and self-expression with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s Meadowlark Quartet at South Whitley Community Public Library! This Stories in Music event features a live reading and performance of Giraffes Can’t Dance, the heartwarming story of Gerald, a giraffe who longs to dance but is discouraged by his clumsiness and the other animals’ jeers. A wise cricket encourages him to listen to his own inner music, and Gerald discovers his own unique and beautiful dance style, inspiring the other animals to appreciate individuality. Perfect for kids and families, this free community event encourages imagination and a love of music. Free to attend—registration required!
