Music Educator of the Year Awards
We’re bringing back our Music Educator of the Year Award! Do you know a deserving music teacher who has impacted you, your children, and your community? Show your appreciation by nominating them today for this special award. Winners receive: $500 cash prize cash allowance to winner’s school for music resources school banner commemorative plaque two series subscriptions to the 2026-2027 Philharmonic season Award recipients will be selected by committee based on nominations and letters of recommendation. The Philharmonic invites all music educators, administrators, parents, and students in the Philharmonic’s 11-county region to participate in the awards program. The nomination submission deadline is Friday, March 6, 2026. Winners will be announced at the Philharmonic’s Family Concert on Saturday, April 18, 2026, 11:00AM, at the Purdue Fort Wayne Music Center. A reception will follow the concert for all nominated educators.
