Meeting Rooms A&B. Discover the ancient art of bonsai! In this hands-on workshop, we'll learn the basics of shaping and caring for miniature trees. Guided by friendly instructors, we'll explore how to trim, style, and maintain a bonsai. Each participant will create a Mame (mah-may) bonsai—a mini tree small enough to fit in the palm of your hand—to take home and care for! What you need to know: You must be at least 9 years old to participate and between 9-18 years old to receive a bonsai tree. Space is limited in this popular program. Please register participating tweens and teens only. Accompanying adults do not need to register. Note: This event is designed for tweens and teens (ages 9-18) based on the skills we'll be practicing or the tools used. Offering age-appropriate programming allows us to craft memorable and personalized experiences for all our patrons, no matter their age.
