Meeting Room A. Una ventana al mundo hispano, a través del cine. Este otoño, la pantalla grande se enciende en tu biblioteca. En honor al Mes de la Herencia Hispana, te invitamos a disfrutar de nuestro Festival de Cine Latino, una serie especial de cuatro funciones que celebran la identidad, las raíces y la diversidad del mundo hispanohablante. Con historias galardonadas, personajes inolvidables y voces auténticas, esta selección cinematográfica destaca la riqueza cultural de nuestras comunidades, e incluye tanto títulos premiados como películas queridas por el público. Y para enriquecer aún más la experiencia, ofreceremos un pequeño bocado típico (“finger food”) del país de origen de cada película. Películas en su idioma original, con subtítulos en inglés o español según el caso. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite you to enjoy our Latin Film Festival—a special four-film series celebrating the identity, roots, and cultural diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. Featuring award-winning stories, unforgettable characters, and authentic voices, this film selection showcases the cultural richness of our communities and includes both critically acclaimed titles and audience favorites. To enhance the experience, each screening will also include a small tasting of traditional finger food from the country featured in the film. All films will be shown in their original language, with English or Spanish subtitles as appropriate.
