Meet local author and performer Angel Vigil and learn about the history of Hispanic communities in the American Southwest. As Colorado celebrates its 150th birthday, Vigil's new book Borderlands: Living in Two Worlds honors the history and experience of Spanish speaking communities in our region and introduces readers to the vibrant culture, language and legacy of the Hispanic Southwest. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the end of the presentation. This event is intended for adults (ages 18+) based on the topic, material covered, or skills and tools being used. Offering age-appropriate programming allows us to craft memorable and personalized experiences for all our patrons, no matter their age. Writing a book?
