About this event
Riverview Room. This October we are presenting the works of two artists. About Noreen Eagleston I started drawing and painting at a very young age and have always been drawn to the beauty of nature. I attended art school in Boston and have studied under numerous New England artists. I am influenced by the work of Cezanne, Ollie LeBrec, Robert Bateman, Rembrandt and others. I paint in studio and Plein Air (painting outside) and feel fortunate to live on the mid-coast of Maine where beautiful scenery is at my fingertips. I feel honored to have the opportunity to display my work and thank all who support me. I appreciate your interest in me and my work. About Renata Reich Moise Renata Reich Moise is a lifelong artist and resident of Hancock, Maine, whose work translates the raw vitality of the coastal landscape into intense, saturated color. Her creative process often begins directly in the elements—facing the biting cold of a winter day or the shifting light over the ocean—before she returns to the sanctuary of her studio to contemplate and complete each oil painting. This rustic space holds deep creative lineage; it is the same woodshed-turned-studio once used by her late father, the artist William Moise, standing just across the rural road from her current home. From the quiet mist of early morning fog to the brilliant red of autumn barrens, Renata’s canvases evoke a profound, generational intimacy with the forests, fields, and wildlife of coastal Maine. Her paintings are held in private collections worldwide, spanning the United States, Canada, Germany, and Australia. You can explore more of her work on her website, renatamoise.com
