You Echo Into Cages | AFA Gallery in Scranton Friday, October 9–Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Friday 6 PM; Saturday 3 & 8:30 PM You Echo Into Cages comes to AFA Gallery in Scranton, PA, on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. Performances are Friday at 6 PM and Saturday at 3 and 8:30 PM as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. This experimental poetry performance uses a chorus of poets to create a layered, synchronized reading. Elements of group choral performance transform the poem into a dialogue of overlapping voices. Props and set design draw inspiration from Cubism, Russian Futurism and Dadaism. The multimedia approach also takes inspiration from the Dada movement’s Cabaret Voltaire of 1916. The performance explores identity, selfhood and freedom through cyclical echoes and chants. Tickets are $15. You Echo Into Cages brings experimental poetry, visual art influences and layered voices to the Scranton Fringe Festival in Scranton.
