About this event

This event will be held at the Wells House. On March 1, 1910, the deadliest avalanche in North American history swept down the snowy Cascades, burying two trains and killing 96 people. Experience the Wellington Disaster Tour like never before—in partnership with Wenatchee River Institute—with an engaging journey led by Scott Cheek, local railroad historian and Museum trainmaster. On October 2 at 6:30pm, Wellington disaster historian Randy Dasho of Port Orchard, WA will speak about the Great Northern Railroad and the Wellington Disaster of 1910. Space is limited and registration is required. You can register for the FREE event here.
