WashU Symphony and Choirs combined in powerhouse performance. Free.

The WashU Symphony Orchestra and WashU Choirs will unite for a special performance of Franz Joseph Haydn's *Mass in Time of War,* featuring soloists Kelly Daniel-Decker, soprano, Erin Haupt, alto, Clark Sturdevant, tenor, and Ben Worley, bass, all led by the fantastic Darwin Aquino. The *Mass* is a testament to the power of art during turbulent times, acting as both a prayer and a reflection on human conflict. Contrasting with the earlier military themes, the finale, *Dona Nobis Pacem* represents peace achieved at great cost through military victory. This is a 45-minute program that will take us through the turmoil of conflict and the hope for peace, combining beautiful melodies with thunderous military themes, presented by our WashU Symphony Orchestra, Choirs, soloists, and Dawrin Aquino.
