Walking the Mourner’s Path: A Journey of Hope and Healing
You Don’t Have to Walk This Road Alone Grief is one of the most isolating experiences a person can carry. Whether your loss happened recently or years ago, the weight of it can feel just as present, just as heavy. Walking the Mourner’s Path is a Christ-centered small group ministry that offers something rare: a sacred, unhurried space to grieve honestly, ask hard questions, and find hope in the company of others who understand. Over eight weeks, this scripture-based program gently guides participants through the question at the heart of every loss — Where is God in my pain? — and walks toward an answer together. About the Program Walking the Mourner’s Path is a prayer-centered, spiritually directed program designed to help you navigate the complexities of grief within a supportive and confidential community. The curriculum moves at a steady, manageable pace — one concept per week — so that you never feel rushed or overwhelmed, but always moving forward. Each participant receives a personal workbook to accompany the journey, including: Weekly prayers and reflections Guided exercises to help you process your experience Homework designed to deepen your spiritual connection and healing between sessions Because the heart of this program is the bond that forms within the group, participants are asked to commit to all eight sessions. This commitment creates a consistent environment of trust — for you, and for every person around the table.
