Barbara Friedberg Storytelling Room, Room 104. Celebrate the beauty and meaning of Día de los Muertos through the incredible migration of the monarch butterfly! In this interactive cultural storytime, children and families will enjoy engaging stories, music, movement, and discover how the monarch's annual journey has become a powerful symbol of remembrance in Mexican tradition. All children will receive a craft to take home as they explore culture, nature, and literacy together. For children ages 3 and older with parents and caregivers. No registration required -- just drop in! ¡Celebren la belleza y el significado del Día de los Muertos a través de la increíble migración de la mariposa monarca! En esta sesión interactiva de cuentos culturales, las familias disfrutarán de historias cautivadoras, música y movimiento, además de descubrir cómo el viaje anual de la monarca se ha convertido en un poderoso símbolo de recuerdo en la tradición mexicana. Los niños también crearán una manualidad temática para llevar a casa mientras exploran juntos la cultura, la naturaleza y la lectura. About the Presenter Rosie Camargo, founder of Miss Rosie Reads, is an award-winning storyteller and Cultural Literacy Specialist who creates engaging programs that celebrate books, bilingualism, and the diverse cultures of Latin America.
