Children's Department. Come see Northwestern’s Image U perform a preview of Grace and the Butterfly Effect live at the Evanston Public Library! In this foot-stomping new musical, Grace accidentally knocks down the fence between her dad’s well-manicured backyard and Mr. Hertz’s wildflower garden, where she discovers three monarch butterfly eggs on a broken milkweed plant. Music, Book and Lyrics by Jane Kelley, Clifford Lee Johnson III and Greg Alexander with Direction by Henry Godinez. Preview performance starts at 1 pm and will last 15 - 20min, followed by a “meet the cast” and a craft activity. For ages 3 and older with caregivers. No registration required.
