True Grit

This month’s exciting book is True Grit by Charles Portis. We will meet at Shakou in Arlington Heights. They have great options for full entrees and smaller appetizers. Keeping with tradition: we’ll be keeping it small, relaxed and easy. No pressure, no overthinking, nothing awkward. Just show up, grab a seat, and bring your smiley face and the book of course, unless that is you completely ran out of time and just don’t have a copy - you are always welcome! Plan on having some fun, great conversation and enjoy each other at . Thank you very much and I can’t wait to meet even more of you!! Please note - going forward for all events a small $2 fee will be charged to RSVP for the event. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS!! Although I understand things do come up last minute the following is part of our group policy: if you RSVP and cancel prior to 24 hours before the start of the meeting twice you will be removed from our group. Thank you! There is free parking at the Vail Avenue Garage which is about 2 blocks away at 22 S Vail, Arlington Heights IL
