Small Things Like These

This month we will have a short book: Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan and ring in the Holiday Season with a cookie/desert exchange. Please bring 10 individually wrapped (baggies count :) of your favorite desert; cookies, bars, chocolate and such to share. Our meetup is ONE WEEK EARLY this month to avoid the Holiday rush. We will get together at Javier’s in Arlington Heights. They have great options for full entrees and smaller appetizers. Keeping with tradition: we’ll be keeping it small, relaxed and easy. No pressure, no overthinking, nothing awkward. Just show up, grab a seat, and bring your smiley face and the book of course, unless that is you completely ran out of time and just don’t have a copy - you are always welcome! Plan on having some fun, great conversation and enjoy each other at . Thank you very much and I can’t wait to meet even more of you!! Please note - going forward for all events a small $2 fee will be charged to RSVP for the event. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS!! Although I understand things do come up last minute the following is part of our group policy: if you RSVP and cancel prior to 24 hours before the start of the meeting twice you will be removed from our group. Thank you! There is 4 hour free parking at the Evergreen Parking Garage 225 N Evergreen, Arlington Heights. This is about a 2 blocks walk.
