Trio Mediæval

About this event

Step into a sound world of extraordinary clarity and stillness with Trio Mediæval, a Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble from Norway and Sweden whose performances feel as timeless as the music they sing. With three voices blending into a single luminous sound, their singing has been described as "pristine and inviting," creating an atmosphere that is both serene and deeply immersive. Their program Yule weaves together medieval carols, Scandinavian folk traditions, and contemporary works into a seamless musical journey that moves between the sacred and the reflective. Drawing on centuries-old melodies alongside newly composed music, Trio Mediæval creates a soundscape that feels both ancient and strikingly present. This is a concert of quiet intensity and beauty — an evening where time seems to slow, and the space itself begins to resonate. In our intimate setting, their voices surround the listener, offering an experience that is contemplative, luminous, and deeply moving.
