About this event

We live in a world of unprecedented access to pleasure—and unprecedented opportunity for overconsumption. From our smartphones and social media to food, shopping, gaming, and entertainment, high-reward stimuli are available to us virtually around the clock. Join Dean Malcolm Clemens Young for a conversation with Dr. Lembke about the neuroscience of desire, the surprising relationship between pleasure and pain, and how we might reclaim balance, connection, and meaning in a culture of endless distraction and indulgence.
