Teen Space - Main Library. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a hands-on STEAM activity inspired by Mexican mango-Tajín candies/desserts, where teens create their own sweet-and-spicy lollipops. Along the way, they'll explore candy-making science concepts like amorphous solids, density, and how temperature transforms ingredients. Teen STEAM allows teens to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics by working on hands-on projects that help them develop critical thinking skills, hone their creativity, practice working independently and collaboratively, as well as perform problem-solving through engaging projects.
