TailSpin w. Simple Motions, Dirty930

Tailspin: Know for high energy garage band indie rock. With relatable, catchy lyrics written by Frontman Owen Piehl. Tailspin tied catchy pop choruses and electric rock guitars to create indie rock anthems straight from the Midwest. Simple motions: Simple Motions is a St. Cloud, Minnesota-based indie rock band crafting melodic, catchy, and jangly songs that blend modern indie sensibilities with a vivid streak of eighties nostalgia. Our music has been described as cinematic, something that comes from Avdem’s background as a frustrated filmmaker. After one of our shows, someone actually told us our music sounds like a “1980s John Hughes movie,” and honestly, we’ll take that. Even with our slacker-leaning influences, we’re always writing, always recording, always finding new ways to shape what Simple Motions is becoming. At the end of the day, we’re just fans of music making music-DIY, Minnesota-born, and constantly creating. Dirty 930: “Dirty-930 is a four-piece alternative rock band from Mankato, Minnesota, blending pop-punk and Midwest emo into a sound packed with catchy melodies, energetic riffs, and raw emotion. Known for their high-energy live shows and honest lyrics, Dirty-930 brings a distinctly Midwestern edge to modern alternative music.”
