Minneapolis based country blues musician Chris Holm returns to White Squirrel Bar for his Bi-Monthly 3rd Friday Chris Holm & Friends residency joined by Dan Tanz on vocals and guitar and Mike Johnson on mandolin to play their brand of old time country blues, bluegrass, folk and country music. Dan Tanz is a Minneapolis songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire who fronts the classic country band TC Ramblers and bluegrass band The West 7th Bluegrass Band. Dan and Chris collaborated on an online songwriting and recording project, Holm & Tanz, during COVID 19 lockdown and still perform together semi-regularly. Mike Johnson can be seen performing with various bands around Minneapolis, including TC Ramblers, on mandolin and pedal steel guitar.
