Swing Dance 101

Most people don’t go to a dance class to learn to dance. They go because they want to be the kind of person who can. Swing Dance 101 is a weekly drop-in class for anyone who’s ever watched someone swing dance and thought, "I want to do that!" No partner needed, no experience required, and no pressure to be good at it on the first try. Or the second. Or ever. The format is simple: every class covers the foundations of vintage swing dancing — rhythm, movement, lead and follow, and some basic steps and stylings.. Partners rotate throughout, which means you’ll spend the hour meeting everyone in the room one dance at a time. It’s a Tuesday night in Las Vegas. You could be doing a lot of things. This one leaves you with an actual skill and a room full of people, many of whom were brave enough to show up alone and try something new. You don’t need: • A partner • Experience • Rhythm (we’ll find it together) You just need: • Comfortable shoes • Willingness to show up & try Mark yourself as going, show up Tuesday, and find out what happens when the music starts. And, if you still need convincing, mention that you found the class on Meetup, and your first class is free! 📅 Every Tuesday ⏰ 6:30–7:30p · Doors open at 6:15p 💵 $10 drop-in · No registration required 📍 My Roots Dance Studio 6070 Fort Apache Rd Ste 200 · Las Vegas, NV 89148 🌐 www.profjitterbug.com/classes
