Summer 2026 Plant a Seed, Read: Nature Journaling Workshop

You are invited to unplug and reconnect with nature through this creative, interactive nature journaling workshop. Using simple playful sketching and writing prompts, you’ll slow down, notice more deeply, and strengthen your observation skills as you explore the natural world in your own way. No art, writing, or science experience is needed—this is about connection, curiosity, and wonder, not perfection. This practice offers a gentle way to restore attention, deepen your relationship with place, and rediscover the calm and insight that come from truly noticing. Due to the popularity of this program, registration is limited to one session per patron across all library locations; please note that spots may be given to waiting attendees if the registrant has not arrived by the scheduled start time.
