STEAM Club: Quilted Challenge

A Quilted Challenge is an engaging way to teach youth math, engineering, and spatial reasoning by building geometric quilt patterns out of paper and other materials without the need to sew. Kids act as structural designers, manipulating shapes to explore symmetry, fractions, and area. Each month, kids ages 6-12 explore a new STEAM theme. Our hands-on projects provide a fun way to practice following directions, explore basic science, and learn concepts in technology, engineering, art, and math. Children build confidence while problem solving, collaborating, and expressing their creativity. Supported by Friends of Chandler Public Library
