About this event
Dialogue is more than what characters say. It’s about what they reveal, what they hide, and what they want. During this workshop, we’ll learn how to use dialogue to build romantic tension, create mystery, and reveal character. We’ll also explore techniques for creating distinctive voices, balancing dialogue with action, and making every conversation intentional and effective in the fictional genres of romance, mystery, and suspense. About the Author: Marie Harte is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author of over 135 books. She’s written for traditional publishers and independently. Under the pen name Kitt Crowe, she writes cozy mystery, and as K.T. Crowe writes thriller/suspense novels. A caffeine addict, collector of quirky pets, and book junkie, she lives with her family in Central Oregon. Learn more at https://marieharte.com/ Questions? Contact Sydneyl@dpls.lib.or.us
