Location: 5 Washington Street (First Floor, Lobby), Newark, NJ 07102 New Jersey’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides food assistance to low-income families to help them purchase food using a benefits card accepted at most grocery stores and some farmers markets. Eligibility is determined by several factors, including income and resources: Who is Eligible for SNAP? To make the application process faster and easier, please bring the following, as applicable: - Proof of income - Proof of address - Proof of rent and utilities - Proof of childcare or eldercare expenses - Proof of medical expenses (if you are age 60 or older or have a disability) Unable to attend?
