Shut Up & Write!® Sundays at Gold Lion

This time graciously hosted by Gold Lion Community Cafe, join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 9am, Sunday morning! Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. Happy writing and we look forward to seeing you! This Blackwell/Manchester staple is a vegetarian restaurant with an Indian inspired menu including American favorites and a full ice cream + espresso bar. They're an inviting and inclusive presence in the community, so please thank them by purchasing something to eat or drink (it's all delicious; you won't regret it!). * SEATING INFORMATION: Gold Lion has graciously offered to allow us use of their cafe space for this event. There is no assigned seating; however, please be aware cafe business will continue per usual and be courteous to non-SUaW customers. * WHAT SHOULD I BRING?: Whatever you need to be able to write, including earbuds, earphones, or earplugs if you'd like some noise cancellation while you work. * TECH SETUP: We hold our events around the community and outlet availability can't be guaranteed, so please come with freshly charged laptops. * OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING: We take a half-hour for socializing before starting each session.
