Enjoy a variety of live performances by some of Atlanta’s most beloved children’s musicians and storytellers in this engaging series. Shows take place Fridays, May through September at 10 and 10:45 a.m. Explore Chinese dance with Hwee-Eng Lee and Kerry Lee, the directors of the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company (ACDC)! Founded in 1991 by Hwee-Eng Lee, the ACDC educates and entertains metro Atlanta and surrounding areas about Chinese history and culture through the art of Chinese dance. Most notably, ACDC helped showcase Atlanta to the world as performers in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games. Free with Garden Membership or Admission; no show reservations are required. See the Entire Line-up This program is located on the Great Lawn under the shade of the elm trees. Bring a picnic blanket or ground cover if desired, as the grass can be damp in the morning. Please see our program greeter on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes before each session. We may cancel or move indoors if rain, cold temperatures or inclement weather make outdoor programming impractical. To check the status, email classes@atlantabg.org.
