SHINE Volunteers will assist Medicare beneficiaries review their 2027 drug plan and Medicare Advantage plan options from 1-5 p.m. on November 30 at the Braden River Library. Appointments are required. If you're on Medicare, it's time to review your current Medicare drug and Medicare advantage Plans with a SHINE Counselor. These plans change every year so it's important to make sure your current plan will still meet your medical and drug needs during Open Enrollment from October 15-December 7. SHINE is a non-profit organization that is part of Florida's Department of Elder Affairs. They are funded by the State of Florida and the Federal Government. Their Services are free, confidential, and unbiased as they are not affiliated with any insurance provider. Call 800-963-5337 to make your appointment to see a counselor. Please let them know that you want to go to the Braden River location.
