Manatee Audubon Featured Speaker Series: Florida Conservation in Action

About this event

Join the Manatee Audubon society the 3rd Thursday every month for their Featured Speaker Series! Join us for a special Featured Speaker Series event as Manatee Audubon board members and preserve guides share their firsthand experiences from this year’s Audubon Assembly. Hear personal stories, key takeaways, and inspiring moments from Florida’s largest annual gathering of conservation leaders. Our speakers will reflect on what they learned about Audubon Florida’s mission—protecting birds and the places they need—and how statewide advocacy, science‑based conservation, and community engagement shape the work we do here at home. This conversation offers a behind‑the‑scenes look at the challenges and opportunities facing Florida’s natural habitats, and how local chapters like ours play a vital role in safeguarding them. Perfect for members, volunteers, and anyone curious about the future of conservation in our state.
