School of Rock Northshore at the Monster Mash — Bogue Falaya Park, Covington Costumes, candy, and a whole lot of noise. On Saturday, October 17, School of Rock Northshore is setting up shop at the Monster Mash, hosted by the St. Tammany Parenting Center at Bogue Falaya Park in Covington — four hours of Halloween-season chaos under the oaks, 10AM to 2PM. Find our tent and come say hey. We'll have treats for the kids, exclusive discounts on lessons and programs, and our crew there in person to answer the question most parents show up with: how do I actually get my kid playing? No sales pitch, no pressure — just people who love this and can tell you exactly how it works. Here's what we are: School of Rock Northshore is an extracurricular, performance-based music school for students ages 4 through adult, serving Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville and the greater Northshore. We teach guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocals — and then we put students in real bands, on real stages, in front of real crowds. That's the whole point. Live music is one of the most important things a community keeps alive, here and worldwide, and the kids picking up instruments right now are the ones who carry it forward. The future of music is standing in your kitchen asking for a guitar.
