Saturday in the park

It’s summer and what would the season be without laughter, food and some wonderful friends? Let’s meetup in July, enjoy our beautiful Cheyenne weather and have a picnic at Holliday Park! It will be our only get together for the month so let’s make it a fun one. Here are some Q&As: \*\* Do I bring chairs and blankets? *Yes*. Bring them *just in case*. It’s a small shelter and you can set up under the shade with a chair and a blanket if necessary. \*\* Is this a potluck? *No*. Bring something to eat and some drinks. If you don’t have a cooler, Eric and I will bring a large one just in case your stuff needs a home. \*\* Is there a grill at our shelter? *Yes*. Eric and I will bring charcoal and lighter fluid in the event that any of you would like to grill something to eat. \*\* Will there be games? *ABSOLUTELY*! I always have something silly planned. They’ll start at 12:30 but only for those who want to play. \*\* How can I find you? *EASY*! We’ll be in a small shelter at the very northeast corner of the park. I’ll have yellow balloons to help identify where we’ll be and parking will be on the street. \*\* What happens if it rains? *BUMMER*! If the weather calls for scattered showers, we’ll huddle under our tiny shelter roof until the cloud passes. If the forecast calls for over a 80% chance of rain, it will be postponed until sometime in September. Just keep an eye on this page for weather updates. And, on a final note, please remember to RSVP and send me a dm on how many children (if any) and their ages if you plan on bringing family or friends.
