Performances are Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday at 6 PM and Saturday at 4 and 8:30 PM as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. This horror-comedy follows Leo during a disastrous week after his board game Kickstarter and savings end up at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Then, a mysterious package arrives for Leo and his roommate and longtime best friend, Trevor. Inside is a game called Sandglass with instructions that only the two of them can play it. What begins with a Twitch unboxing soon turns sinister as the door refuses to open, the die becomes dangerously hot and something starts keeping time. Written and directed by Scranton playwright Paul Miscavage, the production stars Jonmichael Brennan and Christopher Alu. Tickets are $15. Sandglass blends horror, comedy and friendship into a mysterious board game story at the Scranton Fringe Festival in Scranton.
