About this event
Great music should do three things: connect us to the past, inspire us to envision the future, and root us fully in the present. Roma Ransom does all three. The duo blends old-time traditional ballads with European influences—particularly Romanian music—while creating a sound distinctly their own. Grace Easley’s sultry, sweet vocals and the duo’s wide instrumental palette move naturally from intimate listening-room moments to lively festival energy. Over the past decade, Roma Ransom has toured throughout North America, performing more than 200 shows a year and appearing at festivals alongside acts including Larry & His Flask and Leftover Salmon.
