Join a Valentine Museum guide as you journey through the city's past, explore Richmond's role in local, state, and federal government, and soak in spectacular panoramic views from the 18th-floor Observation Deck at Richmond's City Hall Building. Along the way, you'll help shape the experience by choosing which Richmond stories you'd like to hear, making every tour different. Wrap up your visit with a nostalgic look at Broad Street through vintage ViewMasters featuring historic images from the Valentine's collection. Whether you're a first-time visitor, a longtime local, or just short on time, this tour is the perfect way to experience the people, places, and moments that have made Richmond. **Important Note: Our reservation is for 9 visitors. If this MeetUp is full, please register for the waiting list, and we will do our best to add you to our group.** **Please note:** All visitors to City Hall and the Observation Deck, including staff members, are required to pass through metal detectors upon entering the building. This additional security measure helps ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. Please allow 5-10 minutes for the screening process to occur. In the event that an additional search is needed, a metal detector wand may be used. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
