All levels welcome. 2-hour workshop. Learn fun rhyming games designed to sharpen your skills, along with techniques and perspectives to help you find what works best for you. In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll build confidence making up rhymes on the spot and learn how to use them to get big laughs and support your scenes. Whether you have experience with freestyle rap or musical improv, or just love playing improv games and want to get better at rhyming in the moment, this workshop is for you. We’ll also be selecting a handful of participants to join us in Gett’n Rowdy at Big Couch later that night. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Dylan Rohde is an Alum of UCB and iO, and the Founder of The Backline Comedy Theatre and Omaha Comedy Fest, as well as shows like Cards of Destiny and Gett’n Rowdy. He’s learned freestyling techniques from members of Wild N Out, Shamilton, North Coast, Acaprov, and Mixtape.
