About this event
Mayer Room. Every house has a history, but how do you discover yours? Come learn about the architectural evolutions and social histories that make our old houses particularly interesting and special. Using a combination of sources – common and uncommon – anyone can start to assemble a fuller account of their house’s history. This program is co-sponsored by the Howe Library and the Hanover Historical Society. It will be held in hybrid format -- attend in person in the Mayer Room, or register for the Zoom invitation here. Andrew Cushing holds a BA in Environmental Studies and History from Bowdoin College and a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the executive director of Mascoma Valley Preservation, a regional preservation and economic development nonprofit based in Grafton.
