About this event
BC Meeting Room, Baugher Center. Lights, camera- conversation! This film discussion functions like a book club; watch the feature on your own and gather at the library to discuss with other movie lovers. The title is available to stream on Kanopy and on DVD at the library. This month’s title: Rashomon. Brimming with action while incisively examining the nature of truth, "Rashomon" is perhaps the finest film ever to investigate the philosophy of justice. Through an ingenious use of camera and flashbacks, Kurosawa reveals the complexities of human nature as four people recount different versions of a crime. For adults ages 18 and up. Registration opens October 1. Register online or call 219-926-7696 to reserve your spot.
