
Propagating Garden Beauties: Hands-on Workshop with Sam Hitt
Advance Registration Recommended. Growing plants from seed and taking cuttings can enrich the gardening experience and expand your plant pallet. Sam Hitt will offer a hands on workshop from his more than four decades of gardening in New Mexico. Seeds from desirable natives that require cold treatment to common garden vegetables will be covered. We will also be taking cuttings of perennial plants and demonstrating successful transplanting methods. About the presenter: Sam Hitt is President of the New Mexico Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society and a long time New Mexico gardener.
