About this event
Multipurpose Room. Learn painting, collage and mixed-media art in this eight week series for ages 55 and up! Led by professional visual artist and art educator, Miguel Cossio, participants in this small group series will build painting and collage skills while experimenting with a variety of materials, tools and techniques to create unique and expressive works of art. No previous art experience is needed--Come create in this welcoming, creative and exploratory environment and enjoy the process of art discovery while connecting with other older adults! All materials are provided. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a drop in class; participants are expected to attend the full eight week series which ends Monday, December 14 with a culminating activity to showcase students' work. (Culminating session time subject to change.)
