Thank you! In this one-hour somatic drop-in you will be invited to listen deeply to the wisdom of your body. We often function on automatic, busily working or merely surviving, forsaking listening to what our body is trying to tell us. Together we will explore your internal bodily sensations and ways to release pent up emotions and deep-seated wounds. We will use breath, sound, movement and touch (your own) to delve into your hidden, internal landscape of feeling. This is a nervous system informed modality. The intention of somatic inquiry is to create safety, resiliency and establish a deeper relationship with the body. When we build trust and emotional capacity within ourselves, it becomes a built-in safety net to deal with the stressors of everyday life. You will learn exercises and practices to improve emotional and nervous system regulation.
