An historical tale of epic friendship is the selection for October’s book club. The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali will sweep readers into an exploration of how we are shaped by those we meet in our youth. Two Iranian girls from very different social classes form an unbreakable bond that’s tested across decades of political upheaval, from 1950s Tehran through the Iranian Revolution. This title is available at the library, as an ebook or audiobook via Libby, & via MeLCat. Registration is required. Our programs are free (& very popular)!
